Emily Yuruki

Emily’s research interests include the varying facets related to intergenerational relationships, and the enmeshment between grief and loss. In the HDE Lab, Emilys’ focus is the Intergenerational Relationships Project; as she serves as the project manager. She also contributes to the Human Universals project by conducting research on topics associated with grief and loss. Outside of the HDE lab, Emily is a graduate student attending Boise State University’s Masters in Counseling program, and works as a behavior specialist with children with exceptional needs. In her spare time, Emily enjoys international travel, pottery painting, and spending time in nature.
