​As a laboratory artist in the HDE lab, Mia creates visuals for the Human Universals Project, Human Continuum Blog, and aids in website management. She is a student and artist working towards degrees in both Biology and Visual Arts. With the goal of working in the field of medical and biological illustration, she blends her love for art and science by meticulously and vibrantly recording the beauty and intricacy of the natural world. She also serves as the Illustrator for the campus newspaper, the Arbiter. In her personal life she finds passion in creating portraits and animal paintings, focusing on the unique complexity of individual identity in her works.
